We have installed a highly available alarm system for the Albisbrunn facility – which supports young people facing developmental crises – to enable large-scale alerting, warning, and information dissemination. The reason for upgrading the security infrastructure was an incident of violence in 2024, which significantly raised the bar for the protection of staff and young people.

The solution now enables rapid and unambiguous alerting in the event of fires, violent incidents or other security-related incidents, and supports clear procedures in an emergency. The system is equipped with our IoT solution ks.Alert, allowing alarms to be triggered centrally and the system status to be monitored at any time. The app also enables users to manage alarms on the go, regardless of location.
