Self-sufficient siren system – solar energy supply
Our self-sufficient siren system is ideal for remote locations or as a backup system, and retrofittable any time
KS Solar 200 & 400 - full functionality independently of the power grid
Kockum Sonics’ self-sufficient siren solution complements the proven Delta siren series with a photovoltaic system for locations without a fixed power supply or infrastructure. It is ideal for remote locations or as a back-up system, ensures full functionality independently of the power grid and can be retrofitted at any time. The unit supports both warning tones and voice announcements and can be seamlessly integrated into existing warning systems – for example, in disaster control, at major events or on construction sites in undeveloped areas.
The integrated photovoltaic system, consisting of a PV module, MPPT charge controller, mast mounting set and cabling, ensures efficient battery charging and a reliable energy supply. Two variants are available depending on the local conditions: KS Solar 200 (for self-sufficient operation in flat terrain) and KS Solar 400 (also suitable for valley systems or locations with less sunshine).
Thanks to their modular design, the systems are easy to transport, quick to install and can be expanded as needed. Robust materials and weatherproof components ensure reliable operation under a wide range of environmental conditions – even at extreme temperatures or high humidity. Our self-sufficient siren system offers a future-oriented warning infrastructure solution.
